The RSCM Board
of Directors encourages and assists in the development of regional
activities to provide an evermore effective “local”
presence for RSCM members. The goal is to have VOICE for
LIFE activities as well as other types of events hosted under the
RSCM umbrella. When possible, regional center hosts are asked to
include some sort of VOICE for LIFE presentation even when
the main activity is not dedicated to VOICE for LIFE.
If you would
like more information on planning and hosting an RSCM event, contact
Board member Frank Boles
who will provide you with resources and ideas to assist you in making
your event a success.

Summer Course for Young People at Kingswood School, Bath, England
- Young people love returning to this course year after year, to enjoy music and friendship in the beautiful city of Bath. Kingswood School stands above the city, with a wonderful view towards Bath Abbey, where the participants sing several times during the week. Under the inspirational leadership of course director Geoff Weaver, an experienced and gifted team of tutors provide a wide-ranging musical training, including care and development of the voice. Much of the teaching will be helpful to those who are following the Voice for Life training scheme, especially those preparing for awards.
- Daily services are held in Kingswood Chapel, and at the weekend the massed choir sings in Bath Abbey – always a thrilling experience. A wide range of music, set within exciting liturgies, provides musical and spiritual enrichment.
- Kingswood School has excellent facilities for the course participants to enjoy, and there are chances to explore the historic city of Bath. Accommodation is in small dormitories, and there is an experienced team of pastoral staff in each House.
- This course is designed for children and young people aged from 10 to 24 years.
