RSCM America Elects New Board Members

RSCM America welcomes Rebekah Gilmore, Dido Heath, Walden Moore, and Addie Peyronnin to its Board of Directors. Elected during the November Board meeting, these new Board members will have three-year terms that run until November 2027.

Rebekah Gilmore

Rebekah Gilmore is a choral conductor, church musician, and freelance soprano in the Pacific Northwest. As a choral conductor and music educator, Rebekah serves as Director of the Cathedral Choir School and Associate Musician at Saint Mark’s Cathedral, Seattle, where she trains a robust program of children and youth as choral scholars and liturgical musicians. Continuing her work in formation, she also serves as Minister of Cathedral Youth. In 2019, she founded and continues to direct the St. Mark’s Cathedral Women’s Compline Choir. When not making music, Rebekah delights in being mom to her daughter, Esther, and supporting her husband, Tyler, in their family business, Brier Patch Farm, which provides organic produce to their local community in Brier, Washington.

Dido Heath

Dido Heath has over 30 years of experience working in education and non-profit management. She has worked with music organizations, including the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and the Portland Chamber Orchestra (where she was Executive Director from 2008-2011) and she was the Music Administrator at Trinity Cathedral in Columbia, SC, from 2013-2016. She has also pursued a teaching career at high school and college levels and is currently Director of College Counseling at Christchurch School in Christchurch, Virginia, where she lives with her husband and a pair of unruly dogs (her three better-behaved children having flown the coop!). Hailing originally from the UK, she completed her undergraduate work at the University of Oxford and later received an MEd from the University of Edinburgh.

Walden Moore

R. Walden Moore retired as Director of Music of Trinity Church, New Haven, in June of 2024, after forty years of serving the parish. At Trinity, he directed the Choir of Adults and Girls, the Choir of Men and Boys, and the Parish Choir of mixed adult voices in a regular schedule of parish services and appearances both inside and outside the parish. He continues to serve as Adjunct Lecturer in Organ at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music/School of Music where, since 2007, he has co-taught a course in Liturgical Keyboard Skills with colleague Mark Miller. He acts as clinician, guest conductor, and organist for workshops, choir festivals, and church choir clinics throughout the year, including churches in New York, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Chicago during the 2024-2025 season. In recent years, he has been Music Director for Royal School of Church Music in America Summer Choral Residencies in Charlotte, NC, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Newport, RI, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, and Dallas, TX.

Addie Peyronnin

Addie Peyronnin attended her first RSCM America Summer Choral Residency (King’s College Course) in 1998, and continued to attend almost annually for 21 years. She joined the staff as Course Registrar from 2006-2014, and served as Course Manager from 2014 until 2019. Addie is very active in lay leadership at her home church in Philadelphia (Saint Mark’s) and has been a staff singer in the choir since she moved to Philadelphia in 2009. When she isn't singing or doing church volunteer work, Addie and her dog, Deacon, can be found out on the hiking trails in the greater Philadelphia region. Addie’s professional work is in fundraising.
